WINSTON IM6 FLY ROD FOR SALE SERIAL NUMBER
The rod has a 17xxx serial number indicating that it is built on the highly desirable Loomis blank, and Winston advised that based on the serial number the rod was made in September of 1990. Don't miss out on this highly desirable Sage Fly Rod. The item for sale is a lightly-used a Winston IM6 86' 6 wt 3-piece fly rod along with the sock and tube as shown in the photos. This rod comes with tube and sock (both in nice shape as well). And finally, the reel seat hardware has some minor wear markings (might be able to clean the metal up). The chrome finish on the stripper guide does have some corrosion (see photo). The cork handle is clean and I could not find any major scratch markings on the blank. This rod is in great shape, and it only shows signs of very little usage. Butt cap does have some minor scratches and one small mark on the wood insert. The rod is in excellent condition from tip top to butt cap. Fly rod was owned by one of our customers who wanted a new Helios. The handle is spalted maple and the insert is.
